Lurssen is a German shipyard that continues to be family-owned (fourth generation) since it was founded in 1875 by Friedrich Lurssen. The brand's desire is to create a leading shipyard in both quality and performance. Their headquarters are in Bremen-Vegesack, consisting of five building yards in north Germany. Lurssen Yachts is responsible for building some of the world's finest luxury yachts between 33 and 200 meters. Lurssen claims to have produced the world's first motor yacht in 1886.
